The State Joint-Stock Foreign Trade Company "Uzprommashimpeks" owns 7regional cotton terminals in the areas of the republic, carrying out the acceptance, storage, discharging and shipment of cotton-fibre for export and for domestic customers. Total one-time storage volume of cotton for the specified terminals is about 100 thousand tons. SJSC "Uzprommashimpeks" annuallyexports about 300 000 tons of cotton-fibre and at present time is one of the biggestcotton-fibre exporters to the near abroad and cis countries.
