HIGH ALTITUDE NATURALS Rose Absolute Essential Oil is extracted from petals of the Rose (Rosa Damascena, Bulgaria). It is an orange yellow, orange reddish or slightly olive yellowish liquid of extremely rich, warm, spicy floral and very deep rose odor with a more or less pronounced honey-like backnote. The rose absolute diffusive power is realized when the absolute is diluted or used at the concentration of a few percent or even less in a perfume base. This is one of the costlier essential oils available. It imparts a soothing property to the nerves and stabilizes emotional /psychological state of mind, also regarded as a mild sedative and anti-depressant. The scent of rose absolute is thought to release natural endorphins that can lift the mood and relieve some of the physical pain related to grief and depression. For skin care, Rose Absolute can be added to lotions and creams or used to make homemade soaps and bath salts. Rose oil is recommended for all skin types and is especially useful for dry or sensitive skin.
