Since 1986, wetown has started to produce busway and successfully developed the first generation of air insulated busway;

In 2004, specialized company was set up by focusing on busway R& D, manufacturing and sales, and we became the first company to develop LM series compact aluminium-alloy busway in the national brand, breaking the monopoly of the same product by Multi-national brands.

In 2006, we set up the first busway product research lab and performance test center in China.

In 2007, we became the strategic partner with GE to achieve our products from "Made in China" to "Created in China". So that we can expand the oversea markets more positively.

In 2008, Copper Industry Company was set up, it integrates the whole industrial chain so as to enhance the cost advantages. The same year we successfully launched LV series compact busway.

In 2010, we founded Jiangsu Wetown New Material Technology Co., Ltd., focusing on the development and manufacture of photovoltaic modules materials such as photovoltaic welding belt and fluxes, etc.

In 2013, we set up Wetown Hongkong Company to Strategic Reorganization for mm Powerplus, and we succesfully extended busway manufacturing base in Yang Zhong to make the production scale ranks first in China.

In 2014, we founded Wetown Electric Global Co., Ltd., which made us open up the international market.

In January 2016, we completed the equity reform and successfully renamed as WETOWN ELECTRIC GROUP Co., Ltd. Wetown got the award in 2015 as "the most influential brand in Chinese Electric Industry".
