Description:
A manual call point is a device which enables personnel to raise an alarm in the event of a fire incident by pressing a frangible element to activate the alarm system. The distance from an exit door to a manual pull must not exceed 5 feet. In addition, manual pulls often will be placed on each floor near each stairway exit.
