Azithromycin is an antibiotic that fights bacteria. Azithromycin is used to treat many different types of infections caused by bacteria.
Indication:
Azithromycin is a macrolide antibacterial drug indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate infections, such as Acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, Acute bacterial sinusitis, Community-acquired pneumonia, Pharyngitis/tonsillitis, Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections, etc.
Precautions:
Care is advised in the administration of paracetamol to patients with severe renal or hepatic impairment. The hazard of overdosage is greater in those with non-cirrhotic alcoholic liver disease.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
If symptoms persist for more than 3 days or get worse consult your doctor.
Do not to take with other paracetamol-containing products.
Patients should be advised to consult a doctor if they suffer from non-serious arthritis and need to take painkillers every day.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well, because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage.
Dosage:
General Dosing Guidelines: 500 mg as a single dose on Day 1.
Warning:
1.Keep out of reach of children.
2.Do not permit water runoff from feedlots to enter lakes, streams or ponds.
3. Do not contaminate water by direct application or the improper disposal of drug containers.
Dispose containers in an approved landfill or by incineration.
Storage Situation: Stored in a cool and dry well-closed container. Keep away from moisture and strong light/heat.
Shelf Life: Two years when properly stored.
