Tunnel Shield Boring Machine

Shield tunnel boring machine, referred to as shield machine. It is a kind of special engineering machinery for tunnel excavation. Remote-controlled Slurry Balance Pipe-Jacking Tunneling Machine is a new advanced non-digging-equipment with high technology. It combines multi-disciplinary technologies in one, such as the machinery units, hydraulic system, electric controller (including PLC), Laser system, measuring device, etc. Besides the high efficiency, it also has no effect on the traffics on surface. Furthermore, it is good for the environment, and can lower the cost of the construction.

2. Fit in soft soil, clay, sandy soil, gravel soil, hard soil, etc. wide range of soil body.

1) The shield machine can carry out long-distance propulsion, and can make small-radius turns and three-dimensional turns;

2) The tunneling speed is faster. Because the pipe jacking can be carried out, compared with the shield machine, the Hume pipe is transported in the pit during the construction, and there is no need to use a segment assembly machine for assembly, and the tunneling speed is significantly accelerated. Half of the pipe jacking and half of the shield can save at least a quarter of the construction period than a simple shield.

3) The launching well and the receiving well are relatively small, so segmented launching can be performed.

4) Low construction cost. Compared with shield construction, pipe jacking construction significantly reduces costs and has better economic applicability.
