The optical fiber is 250µm, the loose tube is made of high modulus plastic, which is filled with waterproof compound. In the center of the cable core is a FRP strength member, Tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and round cable core, which is filled with the waterproofing compound and extruded into polyethylene inner sheath,then covered with a layer of aramid and extruded polyethylene outer sheath into a cable.
