1. What is Woven Wire Space Cloth?
Woven wire space cloth is square opening woven screen cloth/steel fabric, which is designated by the width of the space or clear opening between the inside edges of two parallel wires or strands.
2.What is Woven Wire Space Cloth Used for?
Woven wire space cloth falls into a group of specifications which are used for screening, sieving, sizing and separating of solids, typically specified by the actual clear opening size rather than by the mesh count.
Tec-Sieve woven wire space cloth is pre-crimped woven wire cloth which is designated by the clear opening size between wires.
3. Which Steel Grades Are Usually Used to Manufacture Tec-Sieve Woven Wire Space Cloth?
In case of quarrying and mining applications, Tec-Sieve usually uses M&H carbon steel to weave space cloth. Steel grades are listed in the table below:

4. How Many Side Edge Types are Available from Tec-Sieve?
As a rule, in terms of quarries or mining industry, woven wire space cloth screens are provided with side edge hooks or edge treatments for tensioning purposes.
Unless otherwise specified, hooked side edges for heavy and medium duty space cloths are about 30mm long (from the inside of the bend to the end of the hook) and at a 45-60º degree angle from the face of the space cloth.
Note:
The above side edge hook types are suitable for most stationary Inclined
and horizontal space cloth screens.
