According to the overall planning of the project, 2 natural gas generator sets with single power 1000kW (400V/50Hz) will be installed in this project, the genset is equipped with intake system, cooling system, exhaust system, electrical system, starting system and other auxiliary production systems. The generator set is operated under isolated moel.

2.Operation conditions of gas generator set
2.1 Environment requirement
Generator set can run stably, reliable and continuously under environment conditions: ambient temperature -20ºC~40ºC, relative humidity ≤90%(20ºC), height above sea level≤1000m.
Generator set can output stably rated power under standard condition:
ambient pressure 100kPa, ambient temperature 25ºC, air relative humidity 30%.
2.2 Gas requirement
Normally, natural gas temperature≤40ºC, gas pressure 2.5~10kpa, pressure change rate≤1kPa/min, concentration change rate≤2%/min, impurity size≤5μm, impurity content≤30mg/Nm3, water content≤40g/Nm3,no free water, H2S≤200mg/Nm3, NH3≤20mg/Nm3
Engineering design
According to project actual situation and need of power plant site, power plant layout is necessary to meet the technical requirements, to meet the safety requirements of fire and explosion prevention, also to create a good production and living environment. There are gas generator set room, low-voltage power distribution room and pumping station in the plant. Width not less than 4m ring fire truck road should be designed around gas generator set room. Power distribution cabinet and low voltage cabinet are placed in low-voltage power distribution room; compressor and air bottles are placed in pumping station.
1.Gas intake system
Natural gas flow into gas generator set through gas main pipe, branch pipe and butterfly valve. In order to ensure the normal operation of gas generator set, butterfly valve, emergency cut-off solenoid valve and fire arrestor are installed on the gas pipeline, to realize the protection of the unit and the automatic control of gas inlet.
2.Cooling system
2.1 Design range
The cooling circulation includes: gas generator set cooling water circulation system and inner water filling system. The main equipment is the cooling tower, pump,etc.
3.Exhaust system
Exhaust gas temperature of natural gas generator set ≤650 ºC, the exhaust system is equipped with expansion joints, muffler and other equipment. With SCR on the roof.
4.Electrical system
4.1System Overview
Each natural gas generator set is equipped with 1 by-pass control cabinet and 1 Low-voltage switchgear, by-pass control cabinet field monitoring and display genset operating parameters, transmits alarm signal to the Low-voltage switchgear generator set voltage 400V, electricity generated transmitted and controlled by Low-voltage switchgear. With over-current, reverse power, over voltage, overload, under voltage protection, meanwhile control genset switch-closing, switch-opening, parallel, active power regulation and reactive power regulation.
4.2 Generator set safety control system
Gas generator set in accordance with Common Technical Requirements for Gas Fuel Generator Set, and has the following safety devices:
1, Low oil pressure alarm, too low oil pressure stop.
2, Over speed alarm and engine stop.
3, cooling water temperature alarm.
4, High lubricating oil temperature alarm
5, Generator reserve power protection
6, Generator under voltage, over voltage protection
7, Generator over current protection
8, Generator low frequency, over frequency protection
5.Starting system
Natural gas generator set using compressed air start, starting system mainly include air compressor and air bottle.
