Common uses include airfield landing mats, highway bridge decking, ventilation grills, curb inlet grates, ramps, docks, sidewalks, concrete reinforcements, vault covers, industrial flooring, trenches, marine platforms and paper mills
Heavy Duty Grating is available in bearing bar sizes ranging from 1" to 6" (25mm ~150mm )depths and thicknesses of 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", and 1/2" (6mm,8mm,10mm,12mm). Typical applications include: vehicular trenches, vehicular sump pits, forklift traffic, air fields, bridges, plant floors, loading docks, and other areas with trucks, vehicles, or forklift traffic. Surface options are smooth or serrated. Available finishes include mill, painted black, or hot dipped galvanized.
Bar grating types are specified by bearing bar spacing followed by cross rod spacing.

1. Grating must be installed with both end being placed on supporting base like flange beam, steel channel.
