Sodium hydroxide solution is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula NaOH and a relative molecular weight of 39.9970.

It is an important basic chemical raw material and has a wide range of uses. The chemical industry is used to manufacture formic acid, oxalic acid, borax, phenol, sodium cyanide and soap, synthetic fatty acids, synthetic detergents, etc. In the textile printing and dyeing industry, it is used as a cotton desizing agent, scouring agent, mercerizing agent and solvent for vat dyes and Haichang blue dye. Used in the smelting industry to manufacture aluminum hydroxide, alumina and metal surface treatment agents. In the instrument industry, it is used as acid neutralizer, decolorizing agent, and deodorant. In the adhesive industry, it is used as starch gelatinizer and neutralizing agent. In addition, it is widely used in enamel, medicine, cosmetics, tanning, coatings, pesticides, glass and other industries.

1. Pharmaceuticals
Stomach medicine: The ingredients are aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, sodium bicarbonate and a small amount of sodium hydroxide. Its main function is to neutralize gastric acid.
Sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC): emulsification, adhesion, and film formation of food and drugs. Used as an anti-soil redeposition agent in detergents. Alkaline cellulose is made by reacting refined cotton with NaOH, and then reacted with chloroacetic acid in a one-step etherification reaction.
2. Green water purification agent
