GMF-B Manual Dry Powder Filling Machine

GMF-B dry powder filling machine is not only can it fill portable fire extinguishers, it can also fill hand push type fire extinguishers. The filer main component of this machine, which is made under fire at a high temperature 

using the most advance material in the world , does not need any replacement for the lifetime of the machine 

and has automatic cleaning function. 

By adopting vacuum fluidonics, GMF-B dry powder filling machine sucks dry powder into the powder holder 

quickly and fills it in the container. This machine is compact, movable, easy to operate and pollution free. It can 

recycle the dry powder in the fire extinguishers directly, thus reducing labor intensity and improving working 

environment. This machine is particularly applicable to the filling of dry powder fire extinguishers, and is also 

applicable to the filling of various powder products.

2.Direction for Use 

1. Switch on the AC220V power source

2. When working, this machine should be grounded. After the power has been switched on, check whether the rotation direction of the pump is consistent with the required direction (clockwise). If the air is exhausted when it should be taken in exchange the position of two legs of circuit to change the rotation direction of the motor, which will make the air pump work normally;

3. When working, place the fire extinguisher at feed opening of the powder holder and shake hand wheel and make the powder holder descend to the opening of the fire extinguisher and tightly impacted;

4. Measurement: "subtraction weighing method" can be used Put the powder source on the electronic scale and weigh the total weight, then set the weighing at the value obtained by subtracting the weight to be filled, this measuring method is called "subtraction weighing method". For example, the total weight of the powder source on the electronic scale is 50Kg, of which 3Kg is needed to be filled, it can been seen that the total weight of the dry powder reduces gradually during suction, and when the total weight shown is 47Kg, 3Kg powder has been filled;

5. The pump begins to work when the switch is switched on. Open the feed opening valve (4), and insert the suction tube (3) in the powder source at this time. The powder will be sucked in the powder holder and directly filled into the fire extinguisher. When the weight approaches the set value, reduce the suction amount using suction tube, and draw the suction tube out immediately after the set value has been arrived and put it in the tube saddle, then tread on the foot board of the reversal valve (1) to till all the remaining powder on the powder holder and the filter in the fire extinguisher; 

6. Shut down the feed opening valve (4), shake hand wheel (10), raise the powder holder and take our the extinguisher; 

7. If more accurate measuring is required, weight the container that has been filled again and make revision;

8. When filling, the suction speed should not be more than the feeding speed.        

3.Filling Method for Small Package of Preset Volume of Feed

Mount the self-made funnel on the soft pipe of the suction tube (fig.1), and empty the small package containing the preset volume of dry powder in the funnel.(Other steps are the same as above)

4.Dry Powder Recycling Method 

1. For recycling of powder in dry powder fire extinguisher whose pressure has been released, suction tube can be used to be inserted into the fire extinguisher to suck the powder directly. Pay attention not to insert too deep in the dry powder, otherwise, the tube is easy to be blocked.

2. For recycling of powder in dry powder fire extinguisher which has internal pressure, insert the discharge tube in the suction tube of the filling machine directly, then switch on the filling machine, draw the security flap out and press the handle down gently. The dry powder will then enter the powder holder quickly.

5.Operation Guide to Hand Push Type Fire Extinguisher

1. Hand push type fire extinguisher has relatively large volume, so the overall powder holder is upwards outwards and can be adjusted according to the size of the fire extinguisher.

2. Draw out the two spring fixed pins (13) at both sides, and lift up the upper bracket and adjust according to the size and height.

3. Unscrew the two fixing bolts (8) at both sides, and extend the powder holding tube outwards. The user himself can adjust the size.

6.Maintenance

1. Fill appropriate amount of 20# engine oil to elevating pieces;

2. When sucking, do not insert the suction tube too deep in the dry powder, otherwise, the tube is easy to be blocked;

3. Disqualified dry powder or powder with over amount of moisture is strictly prohibited to use;

4. After finish filling each time, tread on the footboard of the reversing valve times to remove the remaining dust and powder on the filter.
