The general principles for selecting an inclinometer are:
(1) First of all, to confirm whether it is a magnetic mining area, whether it is subject to magnetic interference, in order to confirm whether the magnetic inclinometer or the gyro inclinometer is used.
(2) Select the appropriate inclinometer measurement range and accuracy index according to engineering technical requirements. It is impossible to blindly pursue high precision, and the instrument has high precision, and its cost and price are also high.
(3) For single point inclinometer and multi-point inclinometer, according to the drilling depth of the project, the single point inclinometer is used when the hole depth is below 100-200m, and the multi-point test should be used for the hole above 200m. Inclinometer to improve the efficiency of the slope measurement.
(4) For the inclinometer used in coal mines, a borehole inclinometer with an explosion-proof safety device should be used.
