Potassium Sorbate is a new kind of food preservative, which can inhibit the growth of bacteria, mold and yeast, no adverse effects on the flavor of food. It involves in human metabolism, with physical safety ,which is recognized as the best food preservative internationally. It is widely used in food because the preservation effect is 5-10 times of that of sodium benzoate. It is produced by using alcohol from fermentation of natural corn, cassava, sweet potato as raw material , through a series of natural processing technology, consequently it is a natural food additive.
