1.Brief induction

1)Low dielectric loss electrical insulating laminated compressed wood is widely used as insulating and 
supporting material in power transformers and instrument transformers .It has many virtues such as moderate density ,
high mechanical strength ,easy to dry in vacuum dryer ,no bad inter-reaction with transformer oil ,easy to mechanical  
processing etc. The dielectric constant of this materials close to transformer oil ,that make a reasonable insulation 
match .It can be used in transformer oil of 105 centigrade for long time .

2)People usually use this material to make upper / lower pressure pieces ,cable supporting beams,limb spacer block 
in oil-immersed transformers.And clamps in instrument transformers.It substitute steel plate ,insulating paper sheet ,
epoxy paper sheet ,epoxy glass fiber woven laminated board in these field ,thus can down the fabricating expense 
and weight of transformers .

3)Electrical insulating laminated compressed wood is made from birch and willow veneer that peeled from high 
quality timbers ,Veneer was and copressed with high temperature after gelatinizing .
