Black Surface Hot Rolled Carbon Mould Steel Round Bar (SAE1045 S45C)
SAE1045/S45C STEEL is the high-quality carbon steel, which adopts the all-static steel manufactured by the electric furnace, the open hearth furnace or the pure oxygen converter steelmaking method, and the metallographic structure of the steel is uniform and has no structural defects.
1. Equivalent Grade

1) Typically used in quenched and tempered or normalized conditions;
2) Good toughness, plasticity and abrasion resistance;
3) High strength and machinability;
4) Medium carbon structural steel;
3. Application:
Use for making injection plastic mould,mould frame and some middle-range machine.

3) Stamping die drawing parts repair and hardfacing;

1) Both end of each bar must be cut.
2) Ladle furnanced and vacuum de-gassed
3) Show heat No.: On each bar
4) Surface condition: the surface of the hot rolled square bar shall befree cracks, scar and wrinkles that affect the use of the billets.In case there is the above-mentioned defect, it shall be remove.
5) The mill test certificate shall show the chemical composition, and it is guaranteed that the chemical composition shall be within the limit stipulated in the contract.
