4.Understanding Our Skin
The concept of skin renewal can be described simply as wound and heal. The youthful glow on a baby's skin is the

result of constant skin renewal, which is the shedding of old skin cells continually being replenished by new ones.

As we enter our teen years and beyond, skin renewal starts to slow. Research has shown that when people reach

their 40's and 50's, skin only sheds approximately once every fifty-three days. Skin with unshed cells build up on the skin's surface, and becomes a dual culprit to our skin's dull, aging appearance.

Frequency Treatment 

• 0.20mm or 0.25mm roller can be used every second day.
• 0.50mm roller can be used once a week. 
• 1.00mm roller can be used once per three weeks.
• 1.50mm and above roller should not be used more often than once every 5 weeks.

Disinfection 

• 0.2mm or 0.25mm Derma Roller
• After each use, soak the derma roller for ten minutes in a mixture of warm water and dishwashing liquid, air-dry.
• 0.5mm and Above
• Wash the derma roller in warm water and dishwashing liquid, taking great care not ti bend the needles.
• Then soak it in disinfecting alcohol for 20 minutes. Discard the alcohol, air-dry. Put back into container.
• Keep the container clean with hot water but do not use any cloth or sponge to clean it since those are full of bacteria.

Caution

• Never share a derma roller with anyone else for hygiene reasons.
• Not recommended for use on irritated or infected skin, active acne, rosacea, eczema, moles etc. 
• Be extra careful when rolling around the eyes; don't go any higher than your cheekbones.
• Don't use a derma roller on your eyelids as the skin is too thin. 
• Keep the derma roller away from possible sources of contamination.
