AHRI210/240 Psychrometric Test laboratory
1.Synopsis of the laboratory
This facility is used for determining the capacity of Air-con by indoor air enthalpy method and refrigerant enthalpy method. It also measures various kinds of data including pressure and electrical properties of the Air-con.
And it consists of two climate chamber (indoor side and outdoor side room), air handling units, condensing units, airflow measurement apparatus, power panel, computer system and so on.
This facility can not only in accordance with the international standard complete the testing of AC, but also meet the standard AHRI210/240 and prEN14825 of the air conditioning SEER/HSPF evaluation. For this purpose, the degradation coefficient (CD) of UUT can be measured by actual tests series.

Cooling capacity tests (T1, T2, T3)
Maximum cooling performance test
Minimum cooling, Freeze-up air blockage and freeze-up drip performance tests
Freeze-up drip performance test
Heating capacity tests (high temp, low temp, extra-low temp).
Maximum heating performance test
Minimum heating performance test
Automatic defrost performance test
Tests above including measures of circulation air volume and voltage, ampere, input power, COP.,EER of UUT
3.Inspection Conditions For the cooling capacity≥2500W, within 2.5% of difference for one UUT consecutive 3 times test, which the tests are at the same installation condition.
Accurate Test----Rated cooling capacity tests in the two sides at the same time.Acceptable differences of indoor air enthalpy method (air side) and refrigerant enthalpy method (refrigerant side)----
For the cooling capacity2500W, within 50W of difference for one UUT consecutive 3 times test, which the tests are at the same installation condition.
Repeatability test---- Rated cooling capacity tests.
For the cooling capacity≥2500W, within ±1.5% of averaging difference for one UUT consecutive 3 times test, which the tests are at the same installation condition.
For the cooling capacity2500W, within ±35W of averaging difference for one UUT consecutive 3 times test, which the tests are at the same installation condition.
Master sample as compared to tests---- Rated cooling capacity test.
For the cooling capacity≥2500W, ±2% compared to test result from local National Testing Center.
For the cooling capacity2500W, within ±50W compared to test result from local National Testing Center.
