Ultrapure water (also UPW or high-purity water) is water that has been purified to uncommonly stringent specifications. Ultrapure water is a commonly used term in the semiconductor industry to emphasize the fact that the water is treated to the highest levels of purity for all contaminant types, including: organic and inorganic compounds; dissolved and particulate matter; volatile and non-volatile, reactive and inert; hydrophilic and hydrophobic; and dissolved gases. Ultrapure water is commonly used in power generation, electrical production, and food and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Technical process:
The complete production line include:
1. Raw water tank
It can collect the raw water inside for next process;
2. Chemical dosing pump
According to different raw water quality, we choose different chemical and inject inside raw water by dosing pump, so it can increase purify effect. Here we always choose famous brand dosing pump;
3. Sand/carbon filter
They were load quartz sand and activated carbon inside, them can remove almost all the big size impurities and remove most smell/color inside water. So it can reduce loading force in next process.
4. Water softener
According to high-hardness water and softener can exchange the [Ca]+, [Mg]+ ions into [Na]+ ion, so it can avoid CaCO3,etc sediments in RO membrane surafce and extend RO membrane life.
5. Micro filter
Choose 1micro meter PP cartridge to remove object which size is a little bigger than 1micro meter.
6. Reverse osmosis device
This RO device is first step desalination unit, give enough pressure and let water penetrate through the reverse osmosis membrane, then almost more than 95% ion can be removed by membrane. Alway the output water TDS can reach approx 5~50ppm according to different raw water.
7. EDI device
This is second step desalination unit, EDI is cleverly combined with electrodialysis and ion exchange technology, the use of high voltage at both ends of the water charged ions to move, and with the ion exchange resin and selective resin film to accelerate the movement of ions to be removed inside water. So after EDI and alomost all the ion will be removed, the output water resistivity can more than 15MΩ.
8. Electric grade filter
To avoid any impurities in piping, the final filter choose electric grade cartridge to purify water before water go in water using place.
