Kunming Heavy Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., as a key enterprise under State Ministry of Electronic and Machinery Industry Building, was founded in 1958. Thirty years have passed and new, the plant has been developed into a state second class enterprise as a shining star on Yungul Plateau among China’s heavy machinery industry. With an occupation of 800,000 square meters and a workforce of over 4,000 among which 750 technicians and engineers, being attached with a research institute of precision rolling mill and wire drawing machine and one of casting and forging, the plant possesses advanced and complete capacity in casting, forging, heat treatment, machining and test and measuring. It is specified in designing and manufacturing equipment for metallurgical industry, mining, open-pit mining, lifting and transportation, rubber and plastics processing industry and building material industry, particularly precision machines, machine line and whole sets of equipment. Products from KH have been sold well to near twenty countries and regions in Asia, Africa and Europe.
