Product Description
ABS plastic has the common performance of three kinds of components, A makes it resistant to chemical corrosion, heat resistance, and has A certain surface hardness, B makes it has high elasticity and toughness, S makes it has the processing and forming characteristics of thermoplastic plastic and improve the electrical performance. Therefore, ABS plastic is a kind of raw material is easy to get, good comprehensive performance, cheap, widely used "tough, hard, rigid" material.
Mechanical properties of ABS:
ABS has excellent mechanical properties, its impact strength is good, can be used at very low temperature. Even if ABS products are damaged, it can only be tensile damage but not impact damage. ABS has excellent wear resistance, good dimensional stability, and oil resistance. It can be used for bearings under medium load and speed. The creep property of ABS is greater than that of PSF and PC, but less than that of PA and POM. The bending strength and compression strength of ABS are poor among plastics. The mechanical properties of ABS are greatly affected by temperature.
Thermal properties of ABS:
ABS is an amorphous polymer with no obvious melting point. Melt viscosity is high, poor mobility, poor weather resistance, ultraviolet light can make discoloration; The thermal deformation temperature is 70 - 107ºC (about 85 ºC), and the product can be increased by about 10ºC after annealing treatment. Sensitive to temperature and shear rate; ABS can still show certain toughness at -40ºC, and can be used for a long time in the temperature range from -40ºC to 85ºC
