K418 (K18) cast superalloy/C74180/INCO713C
1 Overview
K418 is a γ' phase precipitation-strengthened nickel-based casting superalloy. It has good creep strength, thermal fatigue properties and oxidation resistance below 900 °C. The alloy is simpler in composition, does not contain cobalt, has a lower density, and is usually used in the as-cast state. The use of hot isostatic pressing (HIP) treatment and subsequent heat treatment can improve plasticity and fatigue properties, and can also restore the structure and performance of parts that have been degraded and degraded after long-term use. A small amount of σ phase will be precipitated after long-term aging at 800 °C, but it has no obvious effect on the properties. The alloy is suitable for making turbine rotor blades, guide vanes, integral casting turbines and other high-temperature parts of gas turbines operating below 900°C.
1.1 Material grade K418 (K18,518).
1.2 Similar grade INCO713C (USA).

1.6 Varieties, Specifications and Supply Status Round bar-shaped master alloy ingots or various castings. As-cast supply.
1.7 Melting and casting process The vacuum induction furnace smelts the master alloy, and the vacuum induction furnace remelts and casts the investment casting parts and styles.
1.8 Application overview and special requirements The alloy has been widely used as turbine working blades, guide vanes and integral casting turbines of aviation, ground and offshore gas turbines working below 900 ºC, and is also widely used as diesel engine and gasoline engine turbocharger and hot extrusion dies. The alloy has been proven by more than a dozen manufacturers in the long-term production and use of more than 1,000 tons, with stable metallurgical quality and reliable performance. The INC0713C alloy equivalent to this alloy is widely used in various aero-engine turbine working blades and guide blades abroad. The alloy must have a protective coating when it is used for a long time under hot corrosion conditions.
