The principle of multi-layer fusion of non-woven fabrics is to use the high frequency friction between the contact surfaces to rapidly generate heat between molecules. Under a certain pressure, multi-layer non-woven fabrics can be fused together.
The frequency of 20kHz and 15kHz are commonly used for welding of non-woven fabrics.Ultrasonic energy penetrates the material so that it is fused together. Generally, tooth, mesh and strip-like lines are made on the welding head to form a pattern on the surface of the fused product, and to fuse multiple layers of cloth together.Disposable flat masks and N95 masks are made in this way.
