Product Description
The Sensor of Switch is Diaphragm type, it can be suitable for air, gas such neutral gas and water, hydraulic oil,
light fuel, lube and other fluid medium which would not exert corrosion to pressure sensor material. The Set
Point of the Switch is adjustable, the adjustable range is from 0.02 Mpa to 3Mpa.

*)In the practice, even the temporal peak value of pressure, should no exceed the Max. Allowable Pressure.

The Adjustment for Dead Band Non-Adjustable Switches
Choose Order No. 0820750 Switch, a contact signal is required to be generated when pressure fall to 1.5Mpa
( the Decreasing Set Point)
1) Loose the locknut, screw the Hi-Pressure Port into the threaded connection of Checkout Test Set. If the
connection type of the switch is flange, then
2) Open the front cover of the switch, let the cable pass through electrical connection and link to the terminal,
link another end to the multimeter.
3) Add the pressure to 0.5Mpa, this value can be read from the standard pressure gauge.
4) Clockwise rotate the Set Point Adjusting bolt, to make the Set Point calibration change from small to bigl, until
it switchs at 1.5Mpa.
5) Screw the locknut, adjust the pressure of the testing desk, to make the pressure change up and down
around 1.5Mpa, to test if it switches at 1.5Mpa when pressure is falling. Its correspondent Increasing Set Point
just to be 1.5Mpa plus Dead Band 0.15Mpa(approximate), thus 1.65Mpa
Selection and Installation of the Switches
The Set Point must be within the aAdjustable Range, Dead Band is expressed as Typical at mid-range. Normally
it is the 20% to80% of the Ajustable Range.
If the switches are outdoor application, sufficient protections are necessary, for the severe variation of the
ambient temperature, radiation of the sunlight, permeation of the corrosive gas or water, will influence the life of
the switches.
Choose suitable outer diameter cable, and screw the lucknut to avoid the permeatation of dust and water.
Regarding those controlled fluid medium with peak value of pressure and plusation pressure, a damper can be
installed at the connection, to eliminate negative influence
The On-Off current should not exceed the Rating (when the contacts act frequently, the current better not to
exceed the 60% of the Rating. )
During the process of installation or disassembly, a spanner MUST be used to clip and tighten the connection
part of the sensor, to prevent the housing and the Hi-pressure &Lo-pressure connections become flexible.
If the connection of sensor is Female Thread, the depth for the pipe to screw in should not greater than 12mm.
