Product Introduction:
Fracturing proppant is a kind of ceramic particle product with high fracturing strength. It is mainly used for downhole support of oil field to increase the output of oil and gas. It is made of high-quality bauxite and other raw materials and sintered with ceramics. It is a substitute for medium and low strength proppant such as natural quartz sand, glass ball and metal ball. It has a good effect on increasing oil and gas production. When oil and gas are exploited in deep wells, the high closing pressure and low permeability deposits are fractured, resulting in the fracture of oil and gas bearing strata, and the oil and gas are collected from the channel formed by the fracture. Ceramsite supporting material is used to enter the formation with high-pressure solution and fill in the rock fracture, so as to support the fracture from closing due to stress release, so as to maintain high conductivity, smooth oil and gas and increase production.

Usage of fracturing proppant:
In deep Wells of petroleum and natural gas, high closure pressure and low permeability deposits are treated by fracturing to cause the petroliferous rocks to crack, and oil and gas are collected from the channels formed by the fractures. High aluminum support materials are used to go into the stratum with the high-pressure solution to fill in the rock fractures, so as to prevent the fractures from closing due to the stress release, so as to maintain the high conductivity, make the oil and gas flow smoothly, and increase the production. Wells fractured with high aluminum proppant have been shown to increase production by 30%-50% and extend the service life of oil and gas Wells.


The ceramic proppant must be able to withstand sufficient mechanical strength to withstand the strong closing pressure generated by the fracturing process and the rock formation. If the support is not strong enough, it will be crushed, which will affect the ability of oil and gas to flow. Therefore, proppant has strict requirements for acid and alkali resistance, turbidity, volume density, and apparent density. It also requires roundness and sphericity to be better. The better roundness is, the better the conductivity is.

 

Classification of Ceramic Proppant:
1. Classification by particle size (particle size) :
According to China Petroleum industry standards, the particle size of proppant is divided into 11 specifications, commonly used are (20/40 mesh, 850-425 μm), (30-50 mesh, 600-300 μm), (40-70 mesh, 425-212 μm) and other three specifications.

2. Classification by density
Generally, the support lau is divided into three categories according to the bulk density and apparent density
Low density: bulk density/apparent density ≤1.65g/cm3/≤3.00g/cm3
Medium density: bulk density/apparent density ≤1.80g/cm3/≤3.35g/cm3
High density: Bulk density/apparent density > 1.80g/cm3/ > 3.35g/cm3

3. Classify by compressive strength
