AWS E7018 is a carbon steel electrode with iron powder type coating. Both alternative current(AC) and direct current (DC) can be applied. It can be welded in all positions. The welding performance is excellent. The arc is stable. The welding spatter is small and the welding slag is easy to remove. The welding bead appearance is beautiful. Welding deposits exhibits high efficiency. AWS E7018 can be used for welding low carbon steel and low alloy steel structure. It must be baked at 350-380 degrees Celsius for 1 hour before use. It can be used anytime after bake. And the amplitude should not be too large.

AWS E6013 is a rutile sand coted electrode. Both alternative current(AC) and direct current (DC) can be applied.  It can be welded in all positions.  The arc is stable.  The arc is easy to strike. The welding spatter is small and the welding slag is easy to remove. The welding bead appearance is beautiful. It is commonly used for automobile bodies, truck frames and bodies which requires a smooth surface welding. If the electrode is not dry, it must be baked at 150-170 degrees Celsius for 0.5-1 hour before use.
