Product Description

Features and advantages:

RT-3317 is a new environmental protection and alkali resistant preservative, which can be widely used in coatings, polymer synthetic emulsions, papermaking and other water-based systems. The main active ingredient is BIT, and the chemical name is 1, 2-phenylpropyl isothiazoline-3-one.
1. Broad-spectrum, long-acting killing of a variety of bacteria, yeasts and molds, using the concentration of 0.1-0.2% can achieve good antibacterial effect.
2. Good compatibility with all kinds of emulsifiers, surfactants and other ingredients, can be dissolved in alcohol and water in any proportion.
3. Applicable to a wider range of pH than similar products, pH 2.0-12.0 can be used.
4. Strong stability: no change in -20ºC to 40ºC storage for a year, the active ingredient is stable at 80ºC.
5. Low toxicity, free of heavy metals and halogen compounds.
6. Stable to amine compounds, no formaldehyde, low odor.

Application: widely used in coating, water-based polymer, paper making, metal cutting liquid, adhesive, ink, water treatment agent, etc

Storage: this product should be closed, dark and low temperature place, avoid direct sunlight

Matters needing attention:

This product can be added in any process, but should try to avoid adding in conditions above 80ºC, it is recommended to add in the last process below 80ºC. Wear protective clothing, rubber gloves, eye masks and masks to avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes, and seek medical treatment.
