Double girder crane generally refers to double girder overhead travelling crane. Double girder crane generally consists of mechanical, electrical and metal structure of three major components. Overhead cranes are a single-span flat bridge supported at both ends on two parallel overhead rails running parallel to each other. Double girder cranes are widely used in indoor and outdoor industrial and mining enterprises, iron and steel chemical industry, railway transportation, port terminals and logistics turnover and other departments and places.

1. Before working

a. For single girder overhead travelling crane with cab, the driver should check the hook, wire rope and safety devices according to the requirements of the inspection card before taking over the shift.

b. For single girder overhead travelling crane operated on the ground, a special person should be responsible for checking according to the requirements of the spot check card every shift, and any abnormality found should be eliminated.

c. The operator must confirm that no one is on the platform or track before closing the main power supply. When the power circuit breaker is locked or there is a notice board, it should be removed by the original person concerned before closing the main power supply.

2. During working

When lifting heavy objects for the first time in each shift (or when the load reaches the maximum weight), it should be lifted 0.5 metres above the ground level, put down the heavy objects again, check the performance of the brake, and then carry out normal operation after confirming the reliability. Strictly implement the "ten not to hang" system.

Command signal is not clear or chaotic command does not hang;
More than the rated lifting capacity is not lifted. 
Spreader use is not reasonable or the object is not securely hung not hanging;
The lifting object on the people or other floating objects do not lift; 
Holding brake or other brake safety device failure not to lift.
Not lifting heavy objects when they are directly processed by the travelling crane.
Not lifting when the crane is hanging directly for processing; not lifting when it is hanging crookedly; not lifting when it is hanging diagonally 
Explosive objects will not be lifted. 
Not to lift objects buried in the ground. 
With angular block mouth objects, not well-padded not lifting.

If any abnormality is found, stop the machine immediately, cut off the power supply, check the cause and remove it in time.
